Painting is the observation of one spot of color coming up against another spot of color. There is only color. If as painters we strive to describe those truths in paint we are capable of offering a kind of visual poem. There are many approaches or as I prefer to call them languages we can use to create our works. Value, Color, Representational, Expressionism, Abstraction are just some of those languages. I am committed to speaking as many of those languages as possible. I am dedicated to blending the many visual and personal languages in order to create a whisper, a shout, a something that echoes, a something that remains.
